A massive well done to the new Stoke Gifford Black belts, Scott Dowling, Ryan Wembridge, & Billy Smith. All three endured a two hour seminar with Master Nicholls VIII Degree, then were tested for a further 1½ hours on all aspects of Taekwon-do, to include patterns, self defence, set sparring, power, theory & free sparring. Once again another proud moment for Stoke Gifford TKD. Congratulations to you all.

Master Nicholls Seminar

A big thank you & well done goes to all students that attended the Master Nicholls seminar on Sunday. Once again it was a massive success with students coming from Mr Deedigan’s schools of TKD & also students from as far as Paignton & Torquay. The feedback from all students was very positive A big thank you goes to Master Nicholls for taking time out from his busy schedule, to inspire us all.

Congratulations to Tim Fox, achieving 1st Degree black belt & Brad May Stoke Gifford’s first 3rd Degree black belt.

Congratulations to all three Stoke Gifford students on their new Dan grades. After years of hard work & preparation & a very tough grading with Mr Don Deedigan VI Degree, instructor Miss Burridge was very proud to announce their success.  A special mention goes to Melanie who is the first lady to gain a black belt at Stoke Gifford, & Jack who is the first student who has trained at Stoke Gifford from the start to obtain a 2nd degree.

Well done guys! The Black belt club is growing at Stoke Gifford.

Grand  Master Choi Jung Hwa visits Bristol.

Master Choi had a very successful visit to Bradley Stoke , Bristol. With Instructor Miss Burridge organising his visit & 14 Stoke Gifford students attending the 2 hour seminar with him.  The seminar was followed by a banquet with Master Choi where students that attended the seminar & also students that were unable to participate in the seminar enjoyed a three course meal with Master Choi.

An amazing once in a lifetime evening was enjoyed by all!

Congratulations to Stoke Gifford students who took part in the Master Maidana Seminar recently.

Riaz Jannoo, Rhys Gamlin, Clive Gamlin, Billy Smith, Ben Baker-Attwood & Kieran McDermott all  participated in the 3 hour seminar with the Argentinean National squad coach.

All found great benefit from his experience & knowledge.

Congratulations to all the students, families & friends that attended the Black Belt presentation evening on Sat 28th March.

A great evening of celebration was had by all. We were very privileged to have Master Trevor Nicholls in attendance to present students with their degree  certificates.

A massive well done to the Stoke Gifford Demonstration team for completing their first demo in Bournemouth.

The weather just about held out (although a bit slippery under foot) for the team to complete an impressive display of Taekwon-do, to a very large crowd.

The day was finished off by a very well earned drink at the local watering hole, to celebrate another great day for Stoke Gifford TKD.

The team will now continue to train hard for the forthcoming summer demonstrations.
