Miss Kerry Burridge 5th Degree

Miss Burridge started Taekwon-do in 1988 and has achieved many awards and honours throughout her Taekwon-do career. A regular in both national and international tournaments, she achieved the title of World Champion in Musical patterns in 1998 and a silver medal at the 2004 World Championships in South Korea. She most recently followed this with a second World title at the 2007 World Championships in Birmingham , England.

Miss Burridge is now passing on her tournament knowledge to her many students, some of whom are already in her footsteps and have already gone on to achieve medals in World & European Championships

Miss Burridge began instructing in 1992 , teaching her own classes at Yate with Mr Ray Gayle & then opened Stoke Gifford TKD in 2000. The club has grown to 100+ students in that time with many achieving the rank black belt.

Miss Burridge is a BTC registered instructor, fully insured & CRB checked, & holds the rank of ITF International Instructor, she is also currently ITF England ladies coach.

Mr May started Taekwon-do in 1995 as a young boy & has progressed & grown into a very talented young man. He started competing in Taekwon-do as a red belt & has gone on to achieve over 50 trophies & medals to include 2 bronze medals in the 2007 ITF World Championships.

Mr May has been assisting Miss Burridge at Stoke Gifford TKD since 2002, & has recently achieved an Instructor position at the club & is now teaching his own junior lessons on Tuesdays.

Mr May is a BTC registered instructor, fully insured & CRB checked
