Miss Burridge started Taekwon-do in 1988 and has achieved many awards and honours throughout her Taekwon-do career. A regular in both national and international tournaments, she achieved the title of World Champion in Musical patterns in 1998 and a silver medal at the 2004 World Championships in South Korea. She most recently followed this with a second World title at the 2007 World Championships in Birmingham , England.

Miss Burridge is now passing on her tournament knowledge to her many students, some of whom are already in her footsteps and have already gone on to achieve medals in World & European Championships

Miss Burridge began instructing in 1992 , teaching her own classes at Yate with Mr Ray Gayle & then opened Stoke Gifford TKD in 2000. The club has grown to 100+ students in that time with many achieving the rank black belt.

Miss Burridge is a BTC registered instructor, fully insured & CRB checked, & holds the rank of ITF International Instructor & ITF International class A Umpire, she is also currently ITF England ladies coach.

Miss White covers the classes at Stoke Gifford when Miss Burridge is away. She also runs her own club at Westbury-on-Trym which was established in 2010.
